The campaign which is seeking an additional $18.25 million in this year’s budget to increase wages for workers who care for the disabled got donated space on a 5,000-square-foot Times Square digital billboard urging Gov. Andrew Cuomo to “please say yes” to the raise. It also urges people to call.
Democrats are eyeing extra spending for education, transit and resources for the developmentally disabled.
