Advocacy

On local, state and national levels, CP of NYS proactively engages the general public and governmental agencies to advocate for the people we support, our industry and key components, such as access and inclusion. CP of NYS works with the State of New York and other levels of government to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families.

Additionally, CP of NYS and the New York State Elks Association have worked together for 47 years to provide direct services to adults and children with disabilities and their families in their home communities through the Home Service Program.
