Female Democrat U.S. Senators Question AHCA Impact

Heidi Murkoff, author of “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” and Natalie Weaver, a North Carolina mother of an 8-year-old daughter with special needs, attended the event and expressed fears that the AHCA could leave life-threatening conditions uncovered by insurance.

 Stabenow said Down syndrome could also be categorized as a pre-existing condition and many children with special needs may lose assistance their insurance previously covered.
